Coach Kevin Crossman

Kevin has been involved in triathlons since 1998 as an athlete and coach. While balancing his personal athletic and professional career, he has increased his level of coaching over the past 4 years to help more athletes reach their goals and peak performance. Kevin has coached all different levels & disciplines of triathlon. From Hawaii Ironman Qualifiers to first timers, from Olympic Distance to Xterra racers, he has created specific programs for each…with success.

Kevin’s own athletic career continues with great success. Most recently, Kevin earned his first triathlon victory at the North Country Triathlon, in Hague, NY. This year also includes a PR at the Mooseman ½ Ironman in New Hampshire, finishing 26th overall place.  Other notable 2008 finishes include:
  • April 19th :: Battenkill Roubaix, NY, 12th in CAT 5
  • June 8th :: Mooseman, NH, 26th Overall
  • June 28th :: North Country Tri, NY, 1st Overall
  • July 12th :: Musselman Sprint, NY, 2nd Overall
  • August 3rd :: Glens Falls Downtown CRIT, NY, 1st in CAT 5
  • September 14th :: Lake George Triathlon, NY, 2nd Overall
Additionally, Kevin has completed Ironman Lake Placid twice (2001 & 2006). His second Ironman earned him a finishing time of 10:32.

In May 2006, Kevin became a USAT Level I Triathlon Coach, and is also a USA Level III Cycling Coach.

Kevin’s background stems from a strong swimming career, in which he was an All-American at SUNY Cortland. Since 1998, he has coached swimming at all different levels (College, High School, and Club). Currently, Kevin is a Physical Education teacher and varsity swim coach at Glens Falls High School.

Kevin has been married for 7 years and has three children.


Coach Paul Fronhofer

Paul has worked directly with Coach Kevin the past 5 years to develop an extensive knowledge in the sport of triathlon. Paul is regarded as one of the top triathletes in the Glens Falls/Saratoga Region. Paul's highlights include qualifying for the Hawaii World Championship Ironman, ITU JAL Age Group Triathlon World Championships, Xterra Championships, and is a 4-time Ironman finisher with a personal best of 10:09 (IMLP 2006). Most recently, Paul won the Eagleman (MD) Aquabike by 16 minutes!!!
