Coach Carl says, "Kat is having an amazing season as she progresses toward IM Canada-Ottawa the first weekend of August. She rigorously executes the plan and is enjoying the results of the efforts. She has set several personal records this year in the process. Kat has a background as a swimmer, so we have worked to improve her cycling and running off the bike. Kat's 2025 race highlights so far include finishing Eagleman in under 5:30 and recently winning the Broome County Triathlon leading from start to finish! I look forward to her having a big day in Ottawa!

A:   My favorite race is the Beer Mile. Its short. And entertaining!

A:   My favorite piece of Triathlon equipment is my bike!

A:   My career highlights would have to be National College Swimmer. 3rd place age group for Dicks Half Marathon. Gun to Tape finish at Broome County Sprint Tri for top female. 5th place age group at Ironman Musselman. IMWC 70.3 in Utah and South Africa.

A:   My goal for this season is a Kona Slot!!!

A:  My long term goal in this sport is to stay injury free. And still have fun!

A:   3 items in my fridge are Beer, wine, and cheese!

A:  Anything Pitbull will be playing on my Playlist. Mrs. Worldwide over here!.

A:  The best advice I can give a newbie in this sport is it is very overwhelming and basically a lot of trial and error and discovery. Also Nutrition is the 4th discipline and better to realize that sooner than later.

A:   My secret tip is always thank the volunteers and smile. And encourage others racers it does make you feel better while racing.

A:   My favorite workout is any swim workout. Or 10 minute shakeout run.

A:   I'd like to say this sport has brought the most amazing people into my life and I am beyond grateful for that! It is better than any perfect race!
