Melissa’s first triathlon season was nothing short of impressive. She put in the work, learned so much along the way, and built a strong foundation for what’s ahead. A:   Well my only race has been Lake George 70.3 - it was my favorite because I had the absolute best cheering squad. My family and nephews were there cheering me on the whole time along with some great friends and a co-worker that traveled all the way from Plattsburgh to cheer me on

A:   AeroBar Water Bottle - I am not the best of grabbing my water bottle from the cages so basically the only way I stay hydrated and Tailwind Carb drink

A:   Still loved when we beat GF in Field Hockey in High School and making it to States - completing the triathlon was probably the first time I had the feeling back

A:   Going to focus on running this off season and put in some longer races. Also going back to Spin twice a week as Rachel at Kind Studio is a rockstar and gets me prepared

A:   Well I haven't thought that far. I wasn't sure I was going to sign up for another one but Adam Smile plays a good game and doesn't take no. IM Mont Tremblant 2026!

A:   Nutrition was super important. Best to train with people that have been doing it a while to really learn some tricks

A:   Train with friends and always have extra gels

A:   Favorite this year was in LP with the BABs. They took me under their wings and we swam in Mirror Lake, biked the fun way back to Wilmington and had a nice long run along the river

A:   The feeling during race day is something so hard to explain. Between all the excitement with other athlete, everyone cheering, you also have all the emotions from the last long training months behind you and it is a sense of achievement
